We do this by inspiring business, civil society, and government to design integrative solutions that create true wealth.   

Amory Lovins and his RMI staff shows businesses, communities, individuals, and governments how to create more wealth and employment, protect and enhance natural and human capital, increase profit and competitive advantage, and enjoy many other benefits—largely by doing what they do far more efficiently. Their work is independent, nonadversarial, and transideological, with a strong emphasis on market-based solutions.

The Natural Capital Institute researches principles and practices leading to social justice and environmental restoration.

They initiate projects relating to the relationship between human and living systems, with particular emphasis on natural capital, green business, biomimicry, innovative design, and social justice.

They believe that with education and connectivity, the current downward spiral of environmental and social conditions can be arrested, and that a just and restorative economy is possible.
